Tumaini Innovation Solutions is the social enterprise arm of Tumaini Innovation Center, focused on transforming skills, creativity, and community insights into practical solutions for local challenges. Based in Eldoret, Tumaini Innovation Solutions works with at-risk youth to design and develop sustainable innovations by leveraging locally available resources, engineering skills, and technology. Through entrepreneurship-driven approaches, we create solutions that respond to community needs while generating economic opportunities for young people.
Our products are based on user needs and current challenges in the community; from the Electric three-wheeler that helps low and middle-income farmers maximize output, to the Solar Alert System, a burglar proofing security system that keeps you and yours safe, to Solar Systems that subsidizes your power consumption bringing you value for money.
We aim at creating cutting edge solutions to modern problems using locally available materials to ensure the consumer gets value for money while promoting Brand Kenya (for Kenya by Kenyans).
